****i love basic shoes with good board feel. i’ve been skating the spanky’s so these should skate nice. All the shoes that come out of gravis come from arto and dylan.they’re doing something completely original and it’s sick.

The Dylan Lo, which might have been the most anticipated, hyped and controversial pro shoe in skateboarding history, is now on sale at DKD. Most of us had a quick glimpse of this one during Dylan’s part in Mind Field. But many, like myself, didn’t imagine it was his pro model he was skating in. I just thought he was a bit of a lunatic who didn’t mind skating in dress shoes. But as it turns out, Dylan Reider’s first shoe is a dress shoe and it’s fully skateable.Honestly, holding these slip-ons in my hands, I couldn’t imagine anyone skating in them, based solely on how much they resembled items reserved for weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Dance-offs and that type of thing. However, I shit you not, these things are comfy as hell. It’s deceiving, really, but 100% true. When I put these on, it felt like I were wearing reinforced slippers. My next, task was to see exactly how they skated. They were grippy and featured and internal cushioning that was complimented by the cozy premium leather upper (with reinforced ollie and toe area for extrasturdiness).
